Learn. Build.
Launch Your Career.
Free, project-based programs in web development and AI — designed for Afghan women, taught by Afghan women, built on a platform made for how students actually live and learn in Afghanistan.
Free. Rigorous. Built for Real Jobs.
Every program is completely free, project-based, and designed around what the global tech market actually hires for — not generic certificates.
Frontend Web Development
35 weeks · 105 sessions·Beginner friendly · Now Enrolling
Go from zero to job-ready frontend developer. Students build with HTML, CSS, Tailwind, modern JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js — through practical, real-world projects from week one, not tutorials.
Why TypeScript is part of the curriculum, not an extra: TypeScript isn't an academic add-on anymore — it's what the market now expects. As of early 2026, 7 in 10 frontend job listings require or prefer TypeScript, and it's used in roughly 3 out of 4 new professional projects. Companies like Slack, Airbnb, and Asana have publicly credited it with cutting production bugs by 30–50%. Students who only know JavaScript are now the exception in hiring pipelines, not the norm — so we teach TypeScript as the default from Week 16 onward, exactly as the industry does.
By graduation, students also have hands-on experience with databases, automated testing, security fundamentals, and real deployment — plus a dedicated AI Fundamentals module teaching students to use AI tools professionally: writing good prompts, verifying output, and explaining every line they commit before it ships.
🎯 Graduates leave with a deployed, tested, portfolio employers can actually evaluate — and top-performing graduates go on to our Engineering Internship Programme.
AI Engineering
Learn to build AI-powered applications using LLMs, RAG systems, and AI agents — open to everyone, at your own pace, through our LMS.
Backend & Databases
Server-side development with Node.js, REST APIs, and database design. Your funding opens this cohort sooner — join the waitlist to be notified first.
The Platform Behind the Programs
Most coding programs assume you have a reliable laptop, stable power, and fast internet. We built our LMS assuming you might not — because our students don't always have those things, and that was never a reason to fall behind.
A real coding room, not just a video call.
Every live session happens inside our own platform — students code in real time, in a shared room, the way a real engineering team works together, not just watching a screen share.
Quizzes built from your own session code.
After each class, students get quizzes generated directly from what was taught that session — reinforcing the actual code they wrote, not generic questions.
Every session's code, saved to your dashboard.
Nothing disappears after class ends. Every session's code is available afterward in the student's own dashboard, to revisit anytime.
Code from your phone when your laptop can't.
If a student's computer is unavailable — no battery, no access, shared with family — they can keep coding from their phone through our platform, without losing a session.
Live chat and pair programming, built in.
Students can message each other and pair-program directly inside the platform — collaboration doesn't require a third-party app.
Progress, tracked systematically.
Attendance, quiz results, project submissions, and session participation are all tracked in one place — for the student, and for mentors supporting them.
Designed for low bandwidth, by design — not as an afterthought.
Every part of the platform is built to function on Afghanistan's real internet conditions, not just tested for it after the fact.
From First Lesson
to First Job.
We stay with every student from day one to the moment they land. This is what that journey looks like.
Register
Fill in the registration form — no prerequisites, no fees. For cohort programs, we'll place you as a spot opens. For open programs like AI Engineering, there's no selection process at all — you get access as soon as you register.
Learn Your Way
Join a live cohort for shared deadlines and peer accountability — or work at your own pace with full session recordings. Either way, nothing is locked behind a missed class.
Build Practical, Real-World Projects
Project-based from day one. By graduation, you have a portfolio employers can actually evaluate — not just certificates.
Get Mentored, Get Tracked
Every student is paired with a mentor, with attendance, quizzes, and progress tracked systematically — so nobody quietly falls behind.
Land Your First Job
Career support continues after graduation — job referrals, freelance leads, interview prep. Top graduates of the Frontend Web Development program go on to our Engineering Internship Programme, where the cycle continues.
Where the Programs Lead
Graduating isn't the end of the path — for our strongest Frontend Web Development graduates, it's the beginning of the next one.
Our Engineering Internship Programme takes graduates into real, live client work — mentored directly by Sodaba and Khadija, who started exactly where you are now: as Afghan Geeks students. Interns work September through February, building things people actually use.
This is the proof this cycle works: 12 job opportunities created within Afghan Geeks Education so far — 100% held by Afghan women.
The Differences That Actually Matter.
Women Teaching Women
Our teachers are Afghan women based inside Afghanistan. Same language, same context, same restrictions — and the same fire to change them. No camera required.
Built on Our Own LMS
Our platform was built by our own graduates, who learned on it and then joined our team to build it further. It's AI-powered, works on low bandwidth, lets students code from a phone if their computer isn't available, includes real-time coding rooms, session-based quizzes, live pair programming, and full progress tracking — designed around how our students actually live, not a generic assumption of always-on power and fast internet.
The Cohort Model
You don't learn alone. Shared deadlines, peer accountability, and group code reviews — the way real engineering teams work.
Career Support to First Job
Placement support doesn't stop at graduation — job referrals, freelance leads, portfolio reviews, and interview prep. We stay until you land.
Pick Your Program. We Handle the Rest.
Every program is free. Every student gets a mentor. Every graduate gets career support. The only thing left is to apply.
